Hiraeth, my junior year portfolio, was inspired by Lydia Davis' micro story Love--the story of a woman who falls in love with a man that has already died. The designs consider the subversive romance within this tale, and feature graphic screen prints displaying that embrace a sense of nostalgia and longing. This collection also references the Victorian mourning period, with dropped shoulders and a muted palette
